Our Story

HomeworkO started with a simple observation: millions of students struggle with homework every night, and not everyone has access to a tutor. Some students have parents who can help with calculus. Most don't. Some schools offer after-hours tutoring programs. Many don't. The gap between students who have support and those who don't is real, and it affects grades, confidence, and long-term outcomes.

We built HomeworkO to close that gap. The platform uses artificial intelligence to provide instant, step-by-step homework help across all subjects — math, science, history, literature, and more. It's free to use on the web, and the mobile app extends that access to any student with a phone.

HomeworkO is not a replacement for teachers, tutors, or genuine effort. It's a tool for those moments when you're stuck, when the textbook isn't clicking, and when you need someone — or something — to walk you through the problem so you can move forward.

What We Believe

Every student deserves access to quality explanations. Not just the final answer, but the reasoning behind it. That's why HomeworkO shows its work. When you ask a math question, you see each step. We also believe in being honest about limitations. AI is not perfect. It can make mistakes on complex or ambiguous problems. We encourage students to use HomeworkO as a study aid and to verify important answers against their course materials and textbooks.

The platform is free to use on the web at homeworko.com with 5 daily uses. The HomeworkO app, available free on the App Store and Google Play, provides expanded access for students who need more daily uses.
